Zoo Education

A friend of ours invited us to a fun day at the zoo this week. We were glad we were able to attend! Cameron had fun listening to the story about animals that have spots and strips, doing a craft about zebras and then visiting all the animals. Here are a few pictures from the event.

Tub fun

Daddy bath is always special because it means Cameron gets a full tub with lots of bubbles. Mommy baths are get in, get clean and lets get out! Not when daddy is involved, I think it is more splash and play than it is clean. It's a win win for all I guess.

Kensington's Birthday fun

Happy Birthday Kensington! We loved playing with you and hope you had a good time at your party. If you ask Cameron what is the best part of a party she will always answer "the Cake"!! Here are a few of her enjoying the party.

Last day of Little Gym

22 weeks is a long time to commit to one activity! But we did it and loved going each and every week. Cameron had so much fun running, tumbling, dancing & playing with all of her friends. These pictures are from the last day of class.

Spurs game night

Cameron LOVES to watch basketball.... well not really basketball ~the coyotie. She gets all geared up and loves attending the games. Even though most all games start after her bed time, I think that all the lights, energy & music that is pumped into the arena really gets her going. She says D-fence and Go Spurs Go throughout the game when she is not hunting down the coyotie or eating her favorite popcorn. Here are a few pictures of her before the game.

Baby update!

We had our doctor's appointment today and we were able to determine the sex of the baby! I couldn't be as cruel as Chrissy (finding out and not telling a sole! haha), so here it is... IT'S A BOY! Can you believe it? We thought for sure we would end up with a house full of girls! As soon as I (Scott I mean) can figure out whats going on with our scanner, I'll upload a photo! We are so excited and you could probably guess Scott is just over the moon! :)

Sidewalk painting

So one day it's winter around here and the next day it's spring!?! What gives? You can never tell with our weather... it had been pretty chilly out and Cameron really wanted to get out side after being stuck inside most of the day. The sun broke through, warmed up a bit and out the door we went. Here are a few photos of her ready to paint a few days ago!

Backyard fun...

It was a slightly cold day earlier this week and Cameron just wanted to play outside with her dogie! She was so darn cute and funny I just had to snap a few photos!

Happy New Year

The third annual White Party came a little late this year, but better late than never and what better time than New Year's Eve? Scott & myself along with 3 other great couples host a new year's eve party at Brooke and Justin's house. It was an awesome time with great friends and who wouldn't want to attend a fabulous house party with a live DJ, full service bartender, festive theme, and unforgettable company!?! We defiantly welcomed 2009 with a bang!

Merry Christmas!

We really enjoyed the season this year! Cameron is at the age where she is really beginning to get it and I'm sure that next year is going to be even better! She was able to grasp the reason behind why we celebrate Christmas and just who Baby Jesus is (along with "mama Mary"," dada Joseph" and all the angels, wise men, shepperd's, cows & sheep!) She sang happy birthday to baby Jesus almost everyday and really got a kick out of seeing a live nativity scene and yet another reenactment at the Christmas Eve service at our church. Daddy was unable to attend the service due to work, however, Cameron was sure to let him know all about it. Especially the scene when Mary & Joseph arrived in Bethlehem and there wasn't any room for them in any of the inns. She would act out "knock, knock, knock.... NO Room!" It was really cute and I wish I had my camera that morning! Here are a few photos of her (us) being silly on Christmas morning. The one of her with two cookies is a photo of her after she checked her heart beat with Cookie Monster & the rest of the Elmo medical kit & he told her to eat two cookies and call him in the morning!

Cookies

Every year we make cookies for the holidays. It's so much fun baking for friends, family, neighbors and of course ourselves! This year I had a good helper!

Happy Birthday Baby Jesus Party

I've been so behind with keeping up with our blog! The holidays hit and it seems as though everything falls by the waist side. During the Christmas holiday Cameron and I attended our MOPS happy birthday baby Jesus party! We had a lot of fun visiting with friends, eating pizza & cookies, playing games, listening to stories & donating books as a gift to baby Jesus. Here a few photos of her during the party.
